Start your broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, chard, lettuces, collards
and spinach from starts. Sow carrot, beet, pea and radish seeds
directly into the ground.

We have starts for many vegetables, as well as onion bulbs, seed
potatoes, and garlic too. Plant potatoes now for early spring harvest.

Dont forget to re-use your tomato cages for snow peas and snap
peas to climb on!

You can also add pansies and calendula for color too....the flowers
are edible!
vegetable fertilizer- thats what we did here and you should see how
much our plants have grown.

Keep an eye out for snails and slugs, and you may need Bt spray for
cabbage worms; the warm weather has them everywhere right now.
We use Sluggo for the snails and slugs.
